Pentax Digital SLR
With a high speed shutter unit, continuous shooting of up to 5 images and includes eight distinctive scene modes, the Pentax digital SLR model Pentax K110D has all the features its competition has plus the SAFOX II auto focus system. The sophisticated system features 11 sensor points, with 9 cross type sensors in the middle, which allows for automatic focusing (AF) of the subject with utmost precision.
It offers two AF modes – the conventional single auto focus and the continuous auto focus on moving subject as long as the shutter is pressed halfway down. The Pentax digital SLR also features a lightweight penta-mirror viewfinder, which combines PENTAX-original finder optics with a Natural-Bright-Matte II focusing screen to produce a capture-the-essence-of-real-one image. Other than its 2.5” colour LCD monitor and two preview functions plus an Auto Picture Mode and Auto Sensitivity control.
The camera is compatible with all the interchangeable lenses manufactured by the same company and is energized by an AA battery for easy replacement. All these great features are housed in its super compact, ultra-light weight body, which enhances its operability and portability. It also comes with a newly developed stainless steel chassis and a fiber-reinforced engineering plastic housing to boost its rigidity and durability.
